I realized at a young age that I wanted to be a writer. I had a knack for staying up past my bedtime to hide under my covers with a flashlight, a pen, and paper so I could create stories filled with unicorns, dragons, and fairies without my parents knowing. My mom was, and still is, the biggest supporter of my writing. Many years ago, she purchased me a notebook. On the cover it read “life is either a daring adventure, or nothing at all”. Since then, I have made it my mission to go on as many adventures as I possibly can. As I grew older and life happened, I realized that my adventures may never go further than my writings. My unicorns, dragons, and fairies have turned into cats, dogs, and a baby that require my undivided attention. Instead of living a mundane existence, I embark on my latest adventures in the form of books, blogs, and short stories. The internet has thankfully given me these opportunities to share my adventures with the world.
My latest journey has been into the world of instructional technology, where I'm working towards a master's degree. Instructional technology, to me, feels like a comfortable place to put all of my different skills and talents to use.
I have been freelancing with my skills and am always looking to take on new projects. I have been many titles before: “Content Manager”, “Copy Editor”, “Editor-in-Chief”, “Secretary”, “Supervisor”, "Writing Fellow", and "Writing Tutor" to name a few.
My passion resides in creating beautiful things. I hope you can appreciate my world as much as I enjoy sharing it with you.
